After an absence of two years, BC Distilled, Canada's largest spirits event devoted to local distilleries will happen in Vancouver on April 9. Started in 2014, the annual tasting event celebrates and highlights British Columbia distilleries. This year's festival, which will follow all provincial and local pandemic-related safety and wellness measures, will feature several new distilleries and more than 30 distilleries and exhibitors in total.
In addition to the main tasting, on April 6 it will host a guided BC Whisky Tasting with Davin de Kergommeaux, recognized as the world expert on Canadian whisky.
On Friday, April 8 the Distillers Dinner @ Forage also returns, with a five course meal paired with five cocktails and spirit samples.
BC Distilled is British Columbia's premier artisan distillery festival. Its goal is to celebrate and highlight British Columbia's distilleries. In addition to highlighting BC distilleries, the festival raises money for Pacific Assistance Dogs Society.
