Thank you everyone who has participated in this year’s Canadian Artisan Spirit Competition. We had another record year of entries, with close to 80 distilleries participating. The judges have their samples and and working away!
This Year’s Judges
Check out this year’s line up of judges! This is the first year where we have enough judges that spirits have been assigned by category (as opposed to each judge evaluating all spirits entered). With the number of entries the the demand on the judges was getting too high to ask them to taste all the spirits.
New Stickers Coming
We are also looking at changing sticker suppliers to align with next year’s awards announcements. This will likely involve some design changes.
There will be a sticker-ordering blackout period before the results are announced while we switch to the new supplier. We’re still trying to figure out what impact that will have on stickers from previous years, but something will be available.
In the mean time if you want stickers, they are always available to order.
