Canadian artisan distilleries were among the winners at the 2020 World Whiskies Awards. Macaloney’s Caledonian won World’s Best New Make for its Peated Clearach and Best Canadian Single Cask Single Malt for its Invermallie Single Cask STR Red Wine Barrique Classic Single Malt Whisky. Shelter Point won Best Canadian Single Malt for its Old Vines Foch Reserve and Best Canadian Grain for its Smoke Point.
At the 2020 World Spirits Awards, Okanagan Spirits was named a World Class Distillery and won 14 medals, including nine gold medals.
